Health Information Clerk

We are looking for a team member who is committed to providing the best assistance to our doctors, staff, patients, and clients while thriving in an administrative fast-paced setting. The health information clerk performs Health Care Information activities consistent with medical, ethical, and legal requirements including:

  • Answering incoming calls
  • Participating in medical records organization, retrieval, and retention
  • Responding to staff requests for charts
  • Processing correspondence
  • Ensuring appropriate reviews are completed before releasing or filing health care information
  • Monitoring charts for completeness and required documentation
  • Data entry of patient information
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines

Position details:

  • Starting wage of $18-$20.70,
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous administrative/office experience is required; healthcare administrative experience is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check for the position.
  • This job requires that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
