Certified Medical Assistant

About this opportunity:

We are looking for a team member who is passionate about serving and caring for our community of patients, has great attention to detail, and loves working on a team. Our certified medical assistants will:

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
  • Take patient histories and vital signs.
  • Document information accurately using appropriate forms and charting format in health care information records.
  • Perform intake procedures and assist providers with patients.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with patient follow‑up activities, including referrals, recall, and other patient needs.
  • Work closely with other team members and support the clinic with other needs as identified by the supervisor.

Position details:

  • Starting wage of $21-$24.15
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active and unencumbered Medical Assistant Certification or Registration through an accredited agency (CCMA, RMA, CMA, etc.).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but we are willing to train new Medical Assistants.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check for the position.
  • This job requires that you be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
